Everything you need for a smooth start with Bored Mining — from app registration to your miner going online. A few small details make all the difference, so please take a moment to read this.

Six simple steps — most of them happen automatically. You only need to act in steps 1–3 and 5.
Install the app & register
Download the Bored Mining App from the App Store or Google Play and sign up — with the same email address we set up for you.
Verify your identity (KYC)
A quick in-app identity check. Takes just a few minutes — see our tips below.
Sign disclaimer & contract
You'll receive two emails with personal signing links. Both are signed digitally — no printing, no scanning.
Order confirmation & invoice
Fully automatic: you receive your personal username, your order confirmation and your invoice by email and in the app.
Payment
Pay the invoice using the payment options it contains. Once your payment arrives, we prepare your hardware.
Shipping & go-live
Your miner is deployed and goes online — you can watch it live in the app.
⭐ The three golden rules
These three points cause almost all onboarding delays. Get them right and everything runs through without a single question from us.
One email address — everywhere
Register in the app with exactly the email address your contact set up for you. A different address means our systems can't match your account, and your onboarding stops.
Enter your data exactly as in your ID
First name, last name, date of birth — character by character as printed on your passport or ID card. Watch out for ß vs. ss, hyphens, middle names and spaces.
“ZIP Code” = your postal code
The field “ZIP Code” in the app is simply your postal code (German: Postleitzahl).
🪪 KYC without hiccups
The identity check compares your photos and data automatically — these points make sure it passes on the first try.
📬 Don't miss our emails
Your signing links, order confirmation and invoice all arrive by email — so make sure they reach you.
Check spam & promotions folders
Our emails occasionally land in Spam / Junk or the Promotions tab. If something seems missing, search your mailbox for “bored-mining.com”.
Add us to your contacts
Mark our first email as “Not spam” and add the sender to your contacts — all following emails will land in your inbox.
🏦 A quick note about your payment
Good to know before you pay your invoice:
Banks sometimes flag unusual or larger payments as a possible fraud case and put them on hold — this is a standard security check and nothing to worry about. If it happens, simply confirm the payment yourself in your banking app or with a quick call to your bank, and it will go through normally. If anything is unclear, we're one chat message away.
